Blindness in a cat after torturing her and her four young:

 In Connecticut, a cat was recently found alongside its four babies in a completely sealed plastic box.

Officials at the Dan Gossrove animal shelter in Branford said that this cat and its newborns were found at the end of last week, according to the New Haven Register.

On Wednesday, the "PETA" organization, which specializes in defending animal rights, announced that it will allocate a reward of $ 5,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest or summoning of the person responsible for throwing the cat on the roadside.

The cats were found unconscious as a result of the "torture" they were subjected to while inside a sealed plastic bag.

The cats were transferred directly to the intensive care unit of a veterinary hospital in the area, and at first, doctors noticed that the mother was likely blind from severe hypoxia.

The veterinarians added that each of the cats was in a very terrible health condition, as they were abandoned inside a bag.
